On February 25 (Sun), “Geo-cafe” will be held. Geo-cafe is a mock café where people can exchange ideas and opinions about the activities of the Mt. Apoi Geopark and community development. The third Geo-cafe this year will be held at the Urakawa Town Cultural Hall.
The theme of this year’s Geo-cafe was “Let’s create a mock tour highlighting attractions from Samani and Urakawa to New Chitose! We will invite Mr. Yuhora from Tokuyama University in Yamaguchi prefecture and discuss the attractions between Samani and New Chitose and make a tour.
At first glance, the word “Geopark” may sound intimidating, but it is not. Of course, since it is a “cafe”, tea and snacks will be provided. Please feel free to join us.
