Cape Erimo

Cape Erimo is the place where the 180km long Hidaka Mountain range, the backbone of Hokkaido, sinks into the sea. It is a breathtaking sight of waves crashing into both sides of the mountains as they transform into a 2km long reef. It is also a famous place where the sun both rises from and sets into the sea.
